Membership Committee
Join the movers and the shakers! This area recruits new members, works on member retention and helps keep our roster updated. This committee also holds our member orientation sessions and is very active in our "meet and greet".

Programs & Education Committee
We know you have what it takes to be the next star on our committee! As part of the programs committee, you will help plan all of the monthly luncheons including the venues, speakers and sponsors. You will also be a part of the Annual Chinese Auction, which is the most anticipated fund-raiser in the Metroplex each year! Finally, you will have fun, fun, fun getting to know other HSMAI-DFW members and increasing your return on your membership! We look forward to seeing you at our next committee meeting!

Public Relations/Community Service Committee
The PR Committee is currently looking for volunteers to help with the chapter communications including our newsletter and this very website you are viewing!
Our service commitment in 2009 will be to support our partners at Equest Therapeutic Horsemanship. Equest provides therapeutic sports riding classes and hippotherapy to over 200 clients every week. After being the first therapeutic riding program in Texas founded in 1981, Equest has become the largest non-profit therapeutic riding center in the state. The organization proudly serves children and adults with all types of physical, mental and emotional disabilities through the use of horses and other Equestrian activities. The 2006 Chinese Auction garnered more than $5000 for our partners at Equest, and we plan to raise the "bridle" in 2009! For more information about Equest, please visit www.Equest.org.
The PR committee knows how to "Live Like A Rock Stars"... after all, we ARE the organization's built-in Papparazi. Our goal is to get as much positive exposure for the organization and its part in local hospitality as we can, while assisting in the growth of HSMAI-DFW's membership. With the fun comes a lot of hard work, but we get to do the "fun stuff", such as spearhead quarterly initiatives for the philanthropy, communicate our efforts to local, regional and national media, plan the Annual Golf Tournament , along with other member- facing activities. We've even been known to erect wooden palm trees and stuff baby bottles with money to support our cause. One of our biggest projects of the year is the planning of our Annual Chinese Auction, which is one of the most highly anticipated events of the year.
How can you not join the fun?
